Phoenix has arrived!

We made a little detour on the way home from the SoCal Coursing trials and picked up Phoenix from the Windrock homestead in Colorado. Kim and Colin did a wonderful job raising up our special little singleton, and we are incredibly thankful for their generosity in letting her come live with us. She has already settled in and is quickly learning the routines of our household, and she is proving to be a feisty, intelligent little bitch who is absolutely fearless and ready to take on any adventure we offer her. Sonic wins another BIF!

We traveled down to Chino, California for the second time in as many months to give Sonic another few spins around the Prado field now that he is officially recorded as an AKC Field Champion. He placed third in the Specials stake on Saturday after receiving poor scores in Prelims, but Sunday he made up for his low marks and then some, winning Best of Breed and going on to pick up his second Best in Field!! I have thoroughly enjoyed traveling with Sonic over the past few months, and we are already planning our next trip out of state for some upcoming ASFA Greyhound specialties!
