Mourning the loss of our Queen Bee

Casey's beloved girl Cass passed suddenly this morning, and we are all heartbroken at the loss of our tiny, perfect little Queen Bee. We adopted Cassie (aka J's Cass) in 2007 after her brief stint as a professional racer, and we enjoyed almost a decade with her. She was one of the smallest, most delicate little bitches we have ever seen, barely tipping the scales at 50lbs for most of her life, and she was Casey's 'heart dog' through and through. A borderline 'spook' who was always happiest at home with her daddy, Cassie served as a Meet & Greet ambassador for several years with us at GPA-Salt Lake events, and while she never got to compete in lure coursing she did certify a friend's whippet, and even enjoyed several trips out to course jackrabbits in the West Desert.

She will be greatly missed, and we can only hope that she has been reunited with Rocket on the other side and that someday we may get to see both of them again.
